Do you ever feel like you’re waiting to figure out what it is you came here for?

Are you keeping your eyes open and constantly scanning the horizon for ‘the thing’ that finally makes life make sense?

Clues often come in the small quiet moments. They are the things that don’t seem like a big deal at the time but then end up being everything.

And, truly, most of us don’t have one big reason. We have a million little ones that are anchored in moment by moment.

Sagittarius is expansive, sweeping energy, the big ideas and concepts that we set entire belief systems on. The big why.

It’s great to have a larger belief structure to set your compass by and to give your life meaning, but sometimes the ideas are too generic or abstract. I believe ‘this’ but how does that look in practice? Sag loves its’ theories.

And theories can be useless when we’re in the throes of the deepest emotions, the ones that bring us to our knees and make us question everything.

This is when Gemini energy is very useful. Gemini goes back to beginners mind. It realizes the truth can look very different depending on the questions asked and who you’re asking.

Our new Moon today in Sagittarius is in an opposition to Jupiter in Gemini. Jupiter is the ruler of Sag energy so we find ourselves in a bit of an ironic moment.

The skies are saying to us, have your ideals but don’t get too set on them. Have your beliefs but also pay attention to the details coming in because you may find new perspectives incredibly useful.

This is all made more so because both the Moon and Jupiter are squaring Saturn in Pisces.

Oppositions asks us to find the middle ground between two opposing energies. Squares ask us to find a workable path and to take the steps needed towards resolution.

Saturn in Pisces is an invitation to bring in your larger spiritual ideals and make them manifest through specific daily actions.

It’s harder to take action when you’re spinning out in your own ‘but I’m right’ paradigm.

Is there a middle way that perhaps might serve you better? Are there new things you could learn by asking questions or new things you could try?

The greatest belief systems are the ones with an open mind that realize the journey is all about discovery.

This is Sagittarius at its’ best.

In this time of all new frontiers, we serve ourselves most by staying open and loving while also holding strong boundaries that maintain our autonomy within the collective.

Autonomy comes from using our discernment without judging. We hold our strong center while also being available to something bigger and better.

This is the heart of the Jupiter/Saturn square playing out until June 2025.

The initial square kicked off in August and this Moon is your personal invitation to dive even deeper into what the square is trying to teach you. Jupiter and Saturn are the teacher planets in our galaxy, after all.

With Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius until December 15th, let yourself take a pause on all your ingrained beliefs. Allow light to flow in through the cracks of those dug in places. Put down your resistance and rest your minds, dear ones.

Let your heart take the lead.
