Five days ago, 0* Cancer marked the beginning of summer at the Solstice and represented the last point of light in the yearly progression. The Lion’s Gate on 8/8 will be the beginning of the next spiral year.
This Solstice was not only a reset, but an upgrade. We received all the energy needed to release trauma, detoxing it from our bodies to make space for the new light and the new paths opening to us now in this time of great reset.
If you’re feeling sad or discouraged, let the emotions flow through you without holding onto to them or making a story from that state of being.
All is far from lost. We’re feeling the dismantling of things created long ago. Let them leave now.
It’s very possible some of the sadness isn’t even yours but the collective sadness from the dying paradigms.
And also, the sadness felt by the creators of the systems meant to serve only them. We will never know the entire story of the chaos happening behind the scenes, but trust me, there is mass chaos especially for those trying to hold onto the power.
You are love in motion,
holding in place a very different reality now,
one made of light,
not darkness.
This is your work.
Cancer is cardinal (initiating) water (emotions). It represents the home, family, nurturance, the Great Mother and emotional foundations.
In the astrological wheel, Cancer sits at the bottom, comprising our base camp.
Where do we spring from? Who are we because of our formative years? What did we learn about life and what it means to be human when we were very small? What do we still carry within us, many times unconsciously, from what we absorbed from the family that surrounded us as we grew?
And who do we want to be now?
Every year as the Sun moves back into Cancer energy, we’re reminded of our foundational beginning.
This year’s Cancer lunation will feel even more potent given that Jupiter, the great amplifier, is conjoined with the Moon and Sun, and will travel through the sign of Cancer until June 30, 2026.
During this next year, our hearts are being broken wide open.
Cancer reminds us the only thing that really matters here on planet Earth is Love.
It’s the great unifier.
Love is the glue that binds us together and helps us to find compassionate ways to move forward each day.
Love is a feeling, but also an ENERGETIC FORCE.
Love accomplishes things.
On, and around, the Solstice we received a huge influx of LoveLight; intelligent plasma wave particles showered to the Earth from our Sun, meant to infuse us with the energetic knowing of the greatest force in the Universe, Love, in the hopes that we will ground that love energy into matter through our actions.
Was your heart open to receive or was it shrouded and blocked by fear, anger, resentment, angst?
We’ve reached a time when mastery of our heart is of the utmost importance. What energy do we let in? Where do we put our attention? How much of our day is spent in Love?
What do we focus into being?
Love doesn’t require us to feel happy 24/7. We can be immersed in Love and still be sad, for example.
Love is a knowing. It is true North on our compass, a set point to return to again and again.
If we look at emotions as energetic currency, we can use them to help us navigate to where we want to be.
We know we’ve fallen away from Love when we’re in judgement; of another person, ourselves, the current moment.
Bringing Love to every situation automatically softens and rearranges us back to Source.
It’s the great equalizer.
And so, our practice this month is to TAKE ACTION on Love. Today’s new Moon is in an exact sextile to Mars who’s just moved into Virgo, the feminine Goddess of service, the bestower of health and well-being. In this lunation, Mars in Virgo helps us to systematically put in place habits of Love.
We make Love our set point through practice, the energy we come back to again and again when we’ve fallen into judgement or despair.
By doing this, we reset our entire world.
We initiate ourselves into a new paradigm.
One of the greatest by-products of staying in the energy of Love is that we never feel like a victim…we’re fully resourced, WE HAVE OPTIONS.
Because when we’re in a state of love and focus on our goals with excitement, Love always finds a way.
LOVE is the foundation of who you are, the current that runs through your veins. Cancer season reminds us all that this is where we began and this is where we will end.
But it’s up to us to choose love throughout the middle parts. This is our challenge, our quest and our prize…the Holy Grail.
