My goals and intentions this month

Sometimes, many times, building a life you love requires going down an unfamiliar path. It’s usually a path no one else has walked because it’s unique to you. And the most unsettling part about walking it is that you have no idea where it’s taking you.

You must walk in complete trust.

We love astrology for it’s potential to give us answers and our first thought when hearing any horoscope is, ‘Yeah, but how will it affect me??’. My response is always, ‘How would you like it to?’. We take a knowing of the current energies into our hearts and then create our own dance with it. It’s our responsibility to decide for ourselves how we want to experience them.

And, having said that, there’s still an element of the unknown mystery present in every transit. It remains to be seen how it will manifest because they’re manifested through each of us and our Souls have different agendas.

This is what we came here for…to live at the edge of mystery. To not know the ending before we’ve even started.

Capricorn historically is the sign that wants everything locked down. Control has been a dominant energy, especially in hierarchical settings. But this time on Earth is about letting go of our need for control. Unhinging our grip on how things ‘have to be’.

With this new Moon in Capricorn on January 11th in an exact square to the nodes of fate, we’re being prompted to look at the path we want to experience vs the one others want to see us continue down because it makes us more predictable, and therefore, easier to control.

Can you sit in the deep unknowing while also taking the next step your heart is craving?

Can you trust that if you follow your own guidance, even if it looks crazy to someone else, you will be taken somewhere wonderful?

New Capricorn energy is about building generative systems and ways of being. The kind that feel so good you want to keep going for the sheer pleasure it brings. We’re releasing the puritanical and trusting that everything will still be ok.

The truth is, this way of being will be beyond our wildest imaginations and that can be scary at times. We haven’t learned yet how to live with that much goodness.

But could we just try? All you have to do is take one step forward.
