Most people actively look for problems instead of believing things are basically ok, or even, dare I say, great.Â
This is a survival mechanism built into our lizard brains <but guess what?> that part of our brain is evolving into a new more elevated way of thinking.Â
It won’t be too many more years before lizard brains will be replaced by a sense of safety, togetherness and collaboration. I know many will find this hard to believe, especially given the times we’re living through now. But that’s the astrological blueprint for where we’re going.
Until then, we are here to do the work of shedding the habit of looking first for problems instead of joy. Â
We’re the ones who will bring in this new way, one brain cell at a time, one different choice at a time, one letting go of the old ways at a time.
I bring up time because that’s what it will take. If everything were to change all at once for the better, it would literally blow out our nervous systems.Â
I also know many argue we’re going in the opposite direction, but I assure you we’re not. It just looks like it some days.
I’ve been writing for several years about how astrology points to a dismantling of the old and the new that will take its place.
My husband and I are going through a very personal dismantling currently as we prepare to move from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest.Â
Our house, now that it’s under contract, looks like a complete mess as I pull everything out of our closets, cabinets and basement to decide what deserves a place in our new home (which is exactly what we’re doing on a collective level, by the way).
It’s our ninth move together and I’ve never had such an intense time going through our stuff before packing. It’s amazing to me how much I’m not willing to drag with me this time. It’s been like a Marie Kondo experience on steroids.
Many things I’ve thought for years I just ‘had to have’ now seem too energetically heavy to bring along and completely unnecessary for the next stage of my life.Â
We’re all in the process of lightening, physically, mentally, emotionally, to see more clearly what’s no longer necessary.
At this Taurus full Moon, in a Scorpio new Moon cycle, perhaps there are things you’re holding onto that you haven’t taken time to thoroughly review as if you’re going to a new lighter place?
Are you making decisions based on the way things have always been?
Spoiler alert: Most things you think are set in stone are absolutely not.
Where we’re going calls for people who are willing to build new loving systems while thinking outside the box (Uranus in Gemini coming next year) and collaborating within their own communities (Pluto in Aquarius November 19th for the next 20 years) to get them done.
New ideas seeded and grown locally.
Small groups of light that grow day by day, eventually spreading throughout the world.
Your brain was never meant to metabolize the problems of an entire world.
It’s time to stop wringing your hands because current structures aren’t to your liking. This is only distracting you from getting on with BUILDING what you DO want with the people who want the same things as you.Â
We can’t wait any longer for things outside us to change ‘for the better’.Â
For the better starts NOW with us.
This full Moon is sitting next to Uranus who’s asking us to make big changes to get to where we want to go, to open our minds so far that we see completely new options. Â
Those big changes will come from the small steps we take every single day with a new positive perspective.
Saturn in Pisces also goes direct today squaring both Jupiter in Gemini and Mercury in Sagittarius.Â
This, together with the full Moon, brings a clear message from the cosmos: it’s time to see ourselves from a new vantage point and then create habits that lift us up and get us where we want to go.Â
If you’re concerned for the state of the world, what’s your part to do within your own surroundings?Â
It’s time to get super specific.
Pull yourself back to your own sphere of influence, away from what’s going on ‘out there’.Â
Focus on what you can do today.
Take one concrete step at a time.
A better world already exists and it lands when we each pull it in through our own focused daily loving actions.
It’s amazing what a shift in perspective can create, isn’t it?
Doing the work alongside you,
Kimberly xo
